Task 2 : Cell
After listen to this topic, I can listen through what Prof David Crystal said. After I have read the transcript, I understand what the topic is about. Besides that, I have found some new words, I refer those words to the dictionary. Now, I knew the meaning and what the difference between "mobile phone" and "cell phone". The word "mobiles" are usually use in UK, but "cell phone" are use in United States.

Assignment 2- Task 1
Task 1 : Binge
Firstly, when I listen to this topic. I really can't follow what Prof. David Crystal said. Besides that, I also don't understand what he said. After I have listen for many times and read the transcript. Finally, I knew what this topic is about and the meaning of "binge" are excessive eating and drinking. Actually in this task, I have learnt how to improve my listening and reading skills.

Assignment 1
To : MISS RAJINA
Reading : In this Foundation English course, I have improve my reading skill. This is because every week we have to do the reading activity in our class. Besides that, we also do the penguin readers book and the review. I have improve in my pronunciation. On the other hand, I also have learnt many new words.
Writing : Before this, I hate to write essay because I always make many grammar mistakes and lack of ideas. But now, I found that write an essay is not difficult.
Listening : I can understand what Miss Rajina say and taught in the class. She speaks English fluently.
Speaking : Before taking this course, I always communicate with other languages and seldom speak in English. After taking this course, I frequent speak English with my friend. I hope I’ll speak better than before.
Vocabulary : In this Foundation English course, I have learnt many new words. Some of the words, I don’t know the meaning. Later, I refer it to the dictionary to find out the meaning. Sometimes, I’ll use this words in writing and speaking.
Making Presentation : Before this, I feel very scare when present in front because I can’t speak English very well. But now, I feel more confident when present. This is because I get an encourage from my friend and my lecturer.
Participating discussion : When come to Group Discussion Activity, I have learnt how to cooperate with my group members. Each of us have to contribute ideas to finish the task given by our lecturer.
The activities that I like is Group Discussion Activity. This is because we can do the work together and all of our group members cooperate and contribute idea to present it to others. Lastly, I hope everybody will enjoy the activities that done in the class.
